How to Join Scouting

Scouting offers a range of age specific programs designed for boys from kindergarten to age 21, and girls from 14 to 21. All emphasize a "learn by doing" approach that builds competence, leadership, teamwork, physical fitness, mental acuity, pride in citizenship and a spirit of service to community imbued with a spirit of fun and adventure. New members are welcome year-round and no prior experience is required.

New for 2011 is our Lion Cub Program for kindergarten boys, developed and piloted locally over the past three years and serving as a model for the Boy Scouts of America.
